Both presidential candidates will North Carolina by the end of the weekend as the race to the White House continues.
Republican Sen. John McCain is visiting Charlotte Friday morning. Recent polls show Democrat Barack Obama has eliminated the GOP advantage in North Carolina, which hasn't been won by a Democrat since Jimmy Carter in 1976.
Obama is planning a rally in North Carolina on Sunday. It will be at the Crown Coliseum in Faytetteville and will begin at 1:30 p.m. Obama has visited North Carolina several times since the primary in May.
