McCain Says Joe The Plumber Was Winner Of Debate

DOWNINGTOWN, Pa. (AP) -- John McCain says Joe the Plumber was the real winner of Wednesday night's debate.

The Republican presidential nominee told supporters outside Philadelphia that the story of Joe Wurzelbacher, who questioned Barack Obama in Ohio last week about taxes on those making more than $250,000 a year, would resonate.

Turns out Joe is not a licensed plumber. He said Thursday he didn't need a license to work for another company.

The two presidential candidates sparred at the debate over which one has the best plan to help small businesses. Joe the plumber hopes to buy one.

Said McCain: "America didn't become the greatest nation on earth by spreading the wealth. We became the greatest nation on earth by creating new wealth."

Actually I think Barack should hire Joe the Plumber. He could help Obama out because Obama has a lot in common with a clogged sewer line. He is full of (well you all know what sewer lines are full of).

Just to clarify what is being said here by Mr Mackey, if you buisness makes $250 thou, you will pay higher taxes. It does not say a salary of such. For example, your company makes 1 million, you will pay 50 of you profit. If I pay my employees 40K, plus health, plus expenses, gas, trucks, material and the other costs, my salary might be whats left. This has been 50 K per year when all is said and done. So, what this means, someone has to "go" to cover the "redistribution" Obamas plan. If the economy does't come back, this means two to three will go. Or, I could hire lower paid illegals. NO, I am an American, they better be one too. So, you want to be a plumber? This is why this democrat will vote for gramps and the babe, to save the employees jobs that work with me. You are right about the scary ignorant stuff, it abounds on this post everyday.

Doesn't matter if the guys name is Joe or Hussein ,the principle of a small business being force into care to cover their employees will decrease small business. It's ironic and moronic that Democrats don't want obama's middle name "Hussein" used but, they grapple over whether a plumber's name is Joe? A middle name is a name. Check your license if you have one.McCain/Palin 08

Unfortunately, from what I've read Joe the Plumber is a Republican and will most likely vote for McCain. But wouldn't it be hilarious if he came out for Obama.

Seriously $250000 a year? I should've been a plumber! You need a brain scan to vote for Gramps and dimwit flathead. Seriously running for VP and cannot name a publication you read? Gramps wants to bomb Iran? How's things in the other two countries we are at war with? Scary, ignorant stuff. Let's try to use our brains, folks.
