Palin Returns To North Carolina As Election Nears

Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is making her second stop in North Carolina in as many weeks.

Palin plans to hold a rally Thursday at Elon University, and she's bringing along singer-songwriter Hank Williams Jr. The Alaska governor held a similar rally at East Carolina University last week.

The Republican ticket has increased its presence in the state as Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama eliminated the GOP advantage in polls. Republican presidential nominee John McCain said during a rally in Wilmington earlier this week that his supporters need to fight to win.

North Carolina hasn't voted for a Democratic presidential candidate since Jimmy Carter in 1976.

And we just can't wait to see her walk on water. Save the Palin messiah complex for a while.

Sandy, I didn't go there to see her but I do agree she is quite capable. The dems hate her since she represents what they hate the most, honest, intelligent, pretty and a very good person. All they have is a dishonest pres canidate with very suspicious dealings, who cannot tell the truth and Biden, who doesn't have a clue on foreign affairs. The dems all have Catie to back up what they want and not what Sarah is really like since all the questions were loaded. I heard Sarah did very well in Greenville, dems hate that so they sent Michelle here. Now that she is proud of her country for the first time Michelle. There is not question in my mind that the media is definitely in the tank for Obama. Its not just a Fox thing. I read and watch info on both canidates and wonder why the story never makes it to the news? They don't want it to. I will be proud of having McCain and Palin as our next leaders. I would fear and Obama Biden term, they are just too dishonest in telling the truth.
