Fake Voter Registration Forms

The North Carolina Board of Elections says they've found 135 bogus voter registration forms, ones turned in by a community organizing group.

The News and Observer of Raleigh reports that elections officials are inspecting suspicious forms handed in by ACORN workers. ACORN stands for the Association of Community Organizations for Reforms Now.

According to the report, 104 fake voter registration forms came from Durham County, 30 came from Wake, and one came from Mecklenburg.
The investigation is not over.

The News and Observer says ACORN has cooperated with the probe, and is required by law to turn in all voter registration forms they collect, including ones that group members flag as suspicious.

Someone please explain to me why the media isn't going crazy over this! If John McCain had quietly funded a group like ACORN to register voters real or fake like this with tax payer money the media would be on him like hair on a gorilla. The media has done everything humanly possible to promote Obama and discredit McCain to the point that Obama wouldn't have needed campaign contributions. Democrats are oblivious to this man's past, his ridiculous lack of experience and the fact that he'll tax us into the stoneage! For what??? To be politically correct?? I'de have voted for Powell or Condi at least they love the country they would be serving. Obama's so far to the left he rolls off the table and bounces on the floor like a stale meatball! The idiots in here keep screaming McBush..McSame..McPalin...why don't you all vote with Mcjudgement and look at the Mcfacts or stay home on election day for the good of the country!

Just like the democrats. I am changing my party to REPUBLICAN ! I can not believe we are now resorting to fake ballots to get a democrat elected. This is shameful and I will not be associated with it. The democratic party has gone down under as far as I am concerned. I hope it don't affect Bev Purdue because she is a good person and would be a fine Governor.

Sorry moderator, I think I should finish my point. The president is a very important decision to make since this will be the person to control the country in a time of danger in the world. When African Americans and anyother race serves this country, I want to make sure we have a strong president to keep them safe and give them what they need to finish the job. I didn't like what Obama and Biden said about getting out of the war, just like Vietnam, where we never lost a battle, politics lost the war. Many don't know that since the news didn't leave it that way. That is the truth. I will vote for a candidate that, no mater his/her color, will be strong in country, god and moderate. Why, because America is diversified. We are not all conservative but we need someone that goes both sides to get things done. Bush doesn't do that, Obama is too liberal, McCain is right there. Also, this article explains dishonesty in voting. This should tell you how dishonest our party is now. Moveon from D.

To "yes we can", we all realize that this is important to African Americans as you say, he is like them, he is not like them. Most African Americans are becoming successful and moving up. This is what Martin Luther King wanted, give them a chance to show they can be good Americans. I know they have problems within the race but most are good, god loving, American lovers and care about their children. The problem is this guy is not the chosen one. He has too much dirt in his closet. You have all heard it over and over. Would Colin Powell been better or Condi Rice been better, yes. They have not been brought to the top by being pushed by a "Chicago Political Machine". This is a fact. He is also supported by Soros and the progressive liberal crowd in the country. There is the problem. I often watch Juan Williams on Fox to see his take on what is going on. I respect this man more than any would know. He is a pilot like my dad and very successful. Pick a candidate that has better chance.

I tell you people one thing, if Obama is everything you say he is I would be not be worried about him, I would be very worried about the American government. I would be worried about just where the Home Land Security is. It makes me wonder why the so called greatest country in the word would say they have something called Home Land Security if indeed they don't have it.

Watch your credit card statements. People are finding charges on there for Obama's campaign that haven't authorized the charges. When you call the toll free number, they try to talk you into donating anyway. Wow, what a way to get donations.

If you do your research Obama has been knee deep in ACORN activities from day one..so small wonder this group would coincidentally make innocent mistakes ie register Mickey Mouse to vote for Barry..imagine that. I wonder if thats how he got in the Senate too?
