Ted Kennedy is back home and getting set to watch the presidential debates.
Aides to the Massachusetts senator blame his hospital trip this
evening on a change in medications
The Democratic senator was rushed to the hospital from the Kennedy family compound on Cape Cod around 5 p.m Eastern time after
a 911 call reporting he had complained of feeling ill.
A police sergeant says Kennedy was "alert and responsive"
during the trip to the hospital.
A seizure suffered by the 76-year-old senator last May was
diagnosed as a malignant brain tumor. He underwent surgery in June,
and after undergoing six weeks of chemotherapy and radiation
treatment, has been steadily increasing his public activity.
Kennedy addressed the Democratic National Convention last month
and has announced plans to be back at work in the Senate in January
