Wounded Vet Campaigns For Obama

A former Marine who lost an arm in Iraq will be in North Carolina to discuss Barack Obama's national security plan.

Retired Marine Corps officer Jonathan Kuniholm will be in Sanford to host a roundtable to discuss national security. Participants will talk about how Obama will support the troops and will attend a presidential debate party in Durham Friday night.

Kuniholm served in the Marines for nine years and lost part of his right arm when his patrol was ambushed in Iraq. He spoke at the Democratic National Convention in August.

$$$; You say you never think of the military when you vote....If anyone ever lands on our shores with invasion on their minds, I am sure you will think of them then. Of course there are some out there that actually believe that it couldn't or wouldn't happen. The rest are just the spineless that never had the nerve to serve.

Keep thinking McCain has your best interest in mind. He's rich and he's banking that you are too stupid to vote for anyone else. If something happens too him you'll have the 'hockey mom' running the country. You've had republicans in the white house for the last 8 years and look at what's it's gotten you. Go Dems!!!

Hey I never think of the military when I vote, that is the last thing on my mind. Being in the military is a job and we all have a job.

The thought of what will happen to this country with Obama in the White House sickens me. That being said, I, as a Marine veteran, would certainly never question or criticize a fellow serviceman's opinion on the leadership of this country - especially when he has left parts of him on foreign soil. Go McCain!

Well I reckon he has a constitutional right(for now) to turn his back on his former buddies in the Marine Corps by campaigning for a yellow bellied Democrat that will never support the military the way Republicans do.But hey, if Americans are foolish enough to fall for his B.S., it is thier security on the line. Obama will have his security(paid for by us)and he wont give a flip about us.WAKE UP AMERICA!

I also detest low life people like those that protest and are paid for by liberal organization and by liberals that generally loathe the military. Yes, I have served as well and the politics of the military are mostly moderate. Obama=liberal and that is a fact. He would just as well cut and run to leave the country our military soldiers have fought valiantly to free and have no problem with it. Carter and Clinton destroyed our military by not funding what it needed and weapons the simply did not think they would need. Bush has spent to get soldiers back up to speed with modern gear that was long overdue. The point of the post is almost "all" soldiers respect Bush and what he did to help them get what they need. You say he got us into the war, not true, both houses. The are an all volunteer force proud to serve and die for this country. I just think this soldier is being used as a poster to Obamas message. That is what VBush is saying as well. Have nice weekend and thanks for serving.
