John McCain Helped Create The Blackberry?

Al Gore may lay claim to the Internet, but John McCain may have a high-tech achievement of his own.

A top McCain policy adviser says the Republican presidential nominee helped create the BlackBerry.

Waving his BlackBerry personal digital assistant, Douglas Holtz-Eakin told reporters, "You're looking at the miracle that John McCain helped create."

McCain has acknowledged that he doesn't know how to use a computer and can't send e-mail -- one of the primary functions of a Blackberry.

Holtz-Eakin claims McCain's service on and leadership of the Senate Commerce Committee put him at the intersection of a number of economic interests, including the telecommunications industry.

The argument is similar to one advanced by Gore. The 2000 Democratic presidential nominee once boasted about "taking the initiative to create the Internet" through technological and educational policies.

Obama was selected by the left because he has a stage presence and can deliver a good speech. The reason they supported him and 'groomed' him to be their candidate is because they figured they finally found someone to beat the Republicans. He still doesn't answer questions and probably never will unless he wins. If that happens, we will see him say and do things that he will never say during the campaign. The Democrats can not win on issues, and they never will. When enough sheep get registered to vote, they may win. The left abandoned Hillary for one reason....they thought Obama had a better chance at winning than she did. Obama is indebted to so many on the far left, that his true agenda will only come to light if he wins.

Hey, wasn't Al Gore the one who invented global warming after he and John Edwards built their houses? Some on this blog haven't read the story. So, that makes you sheep. Learn about Obama, really, learn about what you think is the savior of the liberal party. Yes, the 15% of you that think everybody thinks like you do. We don't, really, we make decisions based on,,,,ready,,,facts. Bashing McCain for his war record when he was in prison for you, is just sad. You should seek help if you feel this way. Kat, Obama is a front not a qualified canidate. Is all the liberals could find to do their dirty work. That is why is was forced down our throats. Hillary was too moderate. So, you find another Jimmy Carter type to fit the ticket. Red State, don't worry about pumping gas and getting shot at. If Obama was elected there wouldn't be any gas to pump. You would just start your windmill, push your car out into the sun and puff, the car would move...isn't Obama the scientist so great.

Almost makes me long for what could have been with Presidents Washingotn, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Kennedy, Reagan, and all great Presidents who never knew about computers and email, but managed to do business anyway. Heck, my boss can barely use the computer. That's why he hired me! He sure knows a lot more about running the company than I do though. And for all of you who are so worried about McCain dying in office, two things 1) Did you see his 96 yr. old mother spring up out of her chair at the convention? He's got good genes. and 2) Remember what Michelle Obama said, "Being a black man in America, Barack could get shot pumping gas." Of course, she neglected to mention that that could also apply to a white man, or woman, or child.

Here's an accurate and credible answer. 145 days experience does NOT a president make. He is not qualified in any way. I understand he has high hopes but so does every little 5-year-old boy who wants to be president. And they have about as much experience as he does. Enough said.

What qualifies Obama to be President? It is certainly not his extensive tenure in the Senate. Please respond. Credible answers only please.

To John, You know it is not just about who wins, "I WOULD THINK YOU WOULD KNOW THAT AFTER THE PAST EIGHT YEARS" but go ahead maybe you will get it right some day "IF WE ARE STILL HERE"

OBAMA is what this country needs JOHN. MCCAIN will wake up (if he doesnt have a heart attack, stroke, or cancer relapse) and think he is in VIETNAM again and push the button and nuke us all...that way we would eliminate conservative thinkers such as yourselves ;) Obama said it best, we shouldnt have a liberal, moderate, or conservative AMERICA,...but a UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. GOD HELP US ALL.

Research In Motion, the company that designed and makes the blackberry, is Canadian. Could old man McCain be a hockey playing socialist? Do we want a president who puts mayo on his french fries? I guess the next big announcement from gramps will be how he piloted his zepplin into Germany and took down the Kaiser all by himself

On every one of these stories around the election; it seems the liberal democrats are going crazy. They need to wake up and face it; OBAMA is not going to win! He does not have the skill to lead this country. All he can do is read a speech from a tele-promoter and say "CHANGE, CHANGE, CHANGE!". Anyone with any sense will not vote for such an idiot.(that is unless you are one). Get a Life; hey even better, get a JOB!!!!

hey, when does knowing how to use a computer dictate whether your going to be a good President or not. Thats why Presidents have assistants. lol. You can run a country very well without knowing how to turn on a computer, or any other technical piece for instance. Shoot, How can McCain have the time to learn a computer when he is busy working dealing in washington, whereas Obama is only working for the few minutes that he gives his "present" vote then to leave to probably go play on his myspace on the computer. lol. GO McCAIN!!!
