A spokesman for Republican gubernatorial candidate Pat McCrory says President Bush will come to North Carolina to help the Charlotte mayor raise campaign money.
McCrory spokesman Jack Hawke said Wednesday that Bush will visit
Raleigh on June 20 for an event hosted by developer John Kane.
Hawke said fundraiser will focus on state issues, not federal ones,
including North Carolina's economy.
He did not have any additional details of the event.
McCrory faces Lt. Gov. Bev Perdue in November's election.
