Dole To Face Kay Hagan In The Fall

Republican Sen. Elizabeth Dole has won her primary against challenger Pete Di Lauro.

Dole breezed to a comfortable victory Tuesday. With less than 1 percent of precincts reporting, Dole had 89 percent of the vote.

Five Democrats were vying to challenge Dole. State Sen. Kay Hagan managed to defeat them and will face Dole in the fall.

Liddy, the invisible "North Carolinian", until, of course, election time, when she leaves her D.C. abode to grace us unwashed masses in N.C. If she were'nt born here, I dare say that she'd be the worst kind of carpet-bagger. Still the same, she is not much better. Only returns "home" every 6 years, different surgically altered face each time, to bless us with her Washington Royalness. Stay home in D.C. Liddy ,we don't need ya. Of course, she'll ease to a win come November. Why can't my party (the Grand Ole Party) find a primary candidate with enough moxy to dethrone her Heiness? I sure won't for Liddy or the democrat in November; can't stand the stench!
