Younger Voters Excited About Primaries

It's just about everywhere you turn, talk about the election, from television ads to local visits from the major candidates. The primaries are the talk of the town and the younger generation is getting involved.

Monday several college students went to see Hillary Clinton at Pitt Community College.

Many students said they are really into the election because they feel like they can make a difference. High gas prices, student loans, the war in Iraq and health care are some of the concerns and reason for their involvement. They're excited about North Carolina being a key state in this election year's primaries.

Students at Pitt Community College say there is a lot of talk about the election on campus and it was easy to register to vote.

Young people are easier to fool than older and wiser adults. That is why Obama directs so much of his attention on younger adults.
