Last Day For One-Stop Voting Produced Long Lines In Greenville

Your opportunity to register and vote all at the same time ended today.

It's a convenience many people took advantage, but not without the inconvenience of a long line.

Dozens of voters stood out in the sun in front of the Jaycee Recreation and Park Building Saturday in Greenville.

Some waited up to an hour before casting their vote. For those who didn't mind the wait, they believe it's better to get it done today than wait for the actually primary.

"Tuesday is going to be a whole lot busier some procrastinates some of them have things to do but it's a good time to vote early to get it out of the way" says Early Voter Bill Sanders.

Tuesday May 6th is the primary, but you will not be able to register, just vote. If you don't know where your polling location is --just contact your county's Board Of Elections.
