Hillary Clinton Pledges To Bring Troops Home

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton spoke in Jacksonville Friday morning.

In a community surrounded by Camp Lejeune, Clinton pledged to end the war in Iraq and bring the troops home.

The New York senator says the American people have given the Iraqis something very precious, their freedom. Clinton says it's now time for the Iraqi people to determine how they will use that gift.

Clinton told the crowd that Iraq will no longer have a blank check from the president of the United States.

As Clinton pleaded with North Carolinians for their support, she also asked the audience for help keeping her husband, former President Clinton, healthy while he campaigns for her across the state.

"You gotta help me out here, though — my husband loves North Carolina, and he loves barbecue, and he's been eating a lot of it across the state," she said before heading to Indiana for several campaign appearances.

the good time in the 1990s? does that mean we will have affairs going on in the white house while we are paying $10/gallon for fuel? We truly need to evaluate ever candidate and definately choose the best one and not the one who promises to do this and that...those promises 90% of the time are not fulfilled and candidates are not obligated to fufill them.

I am a faithful child of God who do not compromise the truth. However, I approach the ideas and comments of others with an open mind since that is the only way in which true discourse can occur. With that said, yes, I read the Bible on a regular basis and am blessed to have God-given wisdom to interpret it. I hope my response helps to clear things up for you a little bit. God bless you.

To anonymous.....what exactly has Mrs. Clinto ndone for the military besides the fact her husband cut the military so much it still hasn't regained what it was? Please tell me what she has done for us? And to all Why should the roughly 1 million people who are losing there homes be bailed out? They made the decision to live beyond their means. They madfe the decision to sign the mortgage. Why should we have to pay for their mistakes? In that theory I am spending to much on fuel do you want to help me pay for it?

I do not like Clinton, Obama, nor McCain. I have no idea whom I will vote for. I think I will just write myself in. That way I am not to blame for American falling on our rears with any of these three.

    Slight edit
