State Treasurer Richard Moore has released an ad questioning a vote that his opponent in the Democratic governor's race made 21 years ago on a civil rights bill.
Moore released the ad Thursday that questions Lt. Gov. Beverly
Perdue's trustworthiness because she voted "no" on a bill to give
state authorities more leeway to investigate organizations such as
the Ku Klux Klan. She was a member of the state House during the
