Obama Campaigns In Greenville

Thousands of people packed Minges Coliseum on the ECU campus in Greenville to hear the democratic presidential candidate speak Thursday evening.

The line started around 8:00 a.m. this morning. Obama took the stage just after 6:30 p.m.

Obama sounded his familiar themes in his speech, saying he chose to run for president now because change can't wait. Obama told WITN in an exclusive interview, "The American people, what they want are solutions to their problems and that's what I want to spend as much time focusing on as possible."

Obama is coming off a debate in Pennsylvania Wednesday night with rival Hillary Clinton.

Before coming to Greenville, the Illinois senator appeared at the State Fairgrounds in Raleigh at midday.

You're right Registered Democrat - it should be Bin Laudens war were are in 100% right now. To bad we were led into another war under false alligations. Weather it was Bush or his advisors I can't tell you. I'll just be glad when they are all out.

Well, why do we vote republican? If you elect Obama or Clinton; gas prices will soar further due to price control (1973) Wages go down and inflation goes up (all of history)prayer will totally leave school (left side of the party wants this) Take god references off everything (left side of party wants this) Gay marriages will be OK from Feds finally (Left side of the party) Taxes will be increased for everybody (history) We will add more buracracy to heath care costs. Get it, its about history of the democratic left side of the party. Unless you were born yesterday open your eyes. Why does the dem party always find people of questionable integrity? I heard Bush "Lied" and how you hate Bush. Thats the only argument. He didn't lie, he did what his advisors told him (history, look it up) His war. Bin Laudens war...he hates all of us including you and wants you dead. I thank the noble volunteer soldiers who fight to protect you and my worthless hyde every day and night.

    That's a well-thought out comment, "BC".

With liberty, and justice for all?Voter '08, surely you cannot be of this country. Surely you have never read a history book and there is no way in the world, you have any dealings with the real world. Liberty and Justice for all. Voter 08, people like you have ruined our country. Women could not vote. Men could not vote if they did not own land and America had slaves. That is the problem with Americans now. We do not read. We have stopped thinking for ourselves. If it sounds good, say it , huh, Voter 08? Go back, read a history book. What was our country founded on Voter '08? England sent the thieves, murderers, and any law breaking person to the New World. Stop letting people think for you. Form your own opinions and start liking yourself. America is suffering from the liars, the cheats and the joy killers. When it rains on the unjust, it rains on the just as well. And as far as Sen Clinton making a mistake when she was in Bosnia. I hope she doesn't forget her promises now....

for Obama or any of the other candidates then don't. Plus you can't call it a "fact" when you make a comment on this blog about me since you don't know me. But i do love my husband very much that is a fact. And I will say this again, anyone who thinks the war shouldn't end should be able to take a soldiers place overseas. And for all the people who are worried about Obama putting his hand on the bible, witn has already taken care of that rumor. And if you think its Obama that can save or send you to hell then your lost all ready no matter who you vote for. Obama is going to change the our world. But there is a saying...The blind don't need to be led because no matter where they are they are still blind. That is some free advice for you kit. I still love you and your opinion. Wow i'm almost as popular as Blog Refuter. :) You better catch up man!

Oh Kit, i'm flattered, 3 comments to me. I blushed all day at work! I can always expect a comeback from you even if it is twisted toward your views. First of all I never said everyone who received public assistance should, i said i didn't know everyone's situation. Your argument isn't with me, I'm not approving these people. Second, i do care about things other than the war. Instead of the war and the billions being spent on it i would have gladly went into debt for better public schools, health care for the working, tax cuts. But Yes because my husband is in iraq the ending of the war is the main thing on my mind. If he dies it just doesn't impact me, yes i lose a husband, my kids lose a father, his sibling lose a brother, his parents lose a son, etc. Honestly what good has the war done for us? The gas price is high as it has ever been, there are 4000 dead soldiers. Are you any richer. My husband is on his 3rd tour and he told me he is tired. And if you don't want to vote for

We need to pick the canidate that we feel will make a change. We can't let race be a factor in our judgement. Listen to what each have to say....look what each has done to make a change. Many believe that we need to go ahead and bring our boys home...that it will stop the war. I can tell you now my son-inlaw has done 3 tours in Iraq. I once asked him why couldn't everyone just come home. He stated that it would be the beginning of a war in our own yard. They have to stay an help those that are in need. If they don't it will flow over to our own country. We need to pray for our country and its future.
