The Clinton Campaign made its way through eastern Carolina today. Former President Bill Clinton made stops in Winterville, Wilson, Goldsboro, Deep Run, New Bern and Jacksonville. It marks the first time in this election that anyone close to the campaign has been in the East.

Hillary Clinton supporters of all ages packed the gymnasium at South Central High School Saturday morning -- to see a man who led the country for 8 years -- and who's now backing his wife as the right person to do it for the next 8.

The former president laid out what Hillary wants to do for America. Like improving the unemployment rate.

"This economy must produce more jobs." says Clinton. "You could close every landfill in NC and use it to generate electricity or make biofuels and none of this stuff could be put in pipelines so every 100 miles it's gonna be transported...Think about it...A lot of poor rural places haven't had new jobs in decades could get them with Hillary's plan for energy independence."

In the end -- most people who attended said they came away with knowledge.
