Former Greenville Mayor Pat Dunn was honored with the Pitt-Greenville Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year Award Thursday night at the 2012 annual membership gala.
Community leaders and chamber members attended the event at
Rock Springs Center to honor Dunn who completed her second term as mayor of Greenville recently as Allen Thomas won the election in November. She was also a City Council At-Large representative for three terms.
The 2010 recipient, Daneel le Roux, presented the Citizen of the Year Award to Dunn.
Eddie Smith, owner of Grady White Boats, received the Legend Award.
