Tucson Residents Shocked To Learn 3 Young Girls Had Been Held Captive In Neighborhood


(KVOA) Police detectives in Tucson, Arizona are calling it a disturbing case of abuse and neglect, children allegedly kept in filthy living conditions and fed once a day.

Officers were called to a home Tuesday morning.

The 911 call reporting domestic violence led police to a horrifying situation.

Three girls told officers that they'd been kept in their bedrooms for several months, possibly up to two years.

34-year-old Fernando Richter and 32-year-old Sophia Richter were booked into the Pima County Jail on kidnapping and child abuse charges.
