Rafael No Threat To U.S.

As of Tuesday morning Hurricane Rafael was centered at 26.6 N, 65.0 W, or about 395 miles south of Bermuda. The storm had sustained winds of 85 mph and was moving to the north at 16 mph.

Rafael is expected to track north then northeast and track parallel to, but well offshore of the east coast this week as a category 1 hurricane. The current track would have no impact on eastern Carolina, save a few bigger swells along the beaches late Tuesday through Thursday.
