Supreme Court Looking At Arizona Immigration Law

The Obama administration is waging a furious legal fight against a patchwork of state laws targeting illegal immigrants. The Supreme Court has its first chance Monday to jump into the fray.

Arizona is asking the justices to allow the state to begin enforcing measures that have been blocked by lower courts at the administration's request. Among those provisions is one that requires police, while enforcing other laws, to question a person's immigration status if officers suspect he is in the country illegally.

Similar laws in Alabama, South Carolina and Utah also are facing Obama administration lawsuits.

The Justice Department says regulating immigration is the job of the federal government, not states.

Arizona counters that the federal government isn't doing enough to address illegal immigration and border states are suffering disproportionately.

The US Government has given away (ceded) over 200,000 acres of Arizona to Mexico. Sheriff Apio has requested troops to rid the State of cartels and Mexican troops. The US Government sent him signs to post along the highway that warns of robbers, drugs, and military action in the area. That's it. What else are they going to give away? Ordinary citizens are afraid to use the roads now and are effectively giving the area to the drug lords and the Mexican Army who has posted lookouts on the peaks and high areas with high powered rifles and heavy arms. Look it up on the Internet - Arizona Land disappears.

The news this morning is that immigration officials have proposed and unmanned gate for illegals to enter the country. The current administration has failed on every single aspect of running and protecting this country except those that protect the unions and liberalize give-away programs to welfare leeches and illegal immigrants.

The major downfall of this country is letting a socialist liberal anti-American like obama in the White House in the first place.

Let a bunch of Americans go to Mexico, to find work and see what would happen. They would end up dead in a ditch. Mexico has no love for the USA. We have become weak when it comes to protecting the well being of our people. This will be one of the major downfalls of our country.
