Air Force warplanes grounded 100 days by Pentagon budget cuts are back in the skies over the Southeast including the 336th fighter squadron at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro.
The warplanes were forced to limit their training over the past three months because of the cuts known as sequestration.
The squadrons flying again are Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Virginia, Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina, Moody Air Force Base in Georgia, and Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida.
