Sandusky Called 'Likely Pedophile' In '98

NBC News reports that a psychologist who looked into a 1998 allegation against retired Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky told police then that his behavior fit the profile of a likely pedophile.

NBC obtained a copy of a campus police report on an incident in which Sandusky was accused of showering naked with an 11-year-old boy at Penn State.

The file includes an analysis from psychologist Alycia Chambers. She interviewed the boy one day after the encounter. Chambers' 14-year-old warning raises new questions about the university's failure to stop Sandusky, who's accused of assaulting 10 boys over a 15-year period. He denies the charges and awaits trial.

A second psychologist concluded at the time that Sandusky had neither assaulted the boy nor fit the profile of a pedophile.
