Romney: Obama "Get Out Of The Way" After FL Primary Win

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney routed Newt Gingrich in the Florida primary Tuesday night, rebounding smartly from an earlier defeat and taking a major step toward the Republican presidential nomination. In defeat, the former House speaker vowed to press on.

Romney, talking unity like a nominee, said he was ready "to lead this party and our nation" -- and defeat Democratic President Barack Obama. In remarks to cheering supporters, Romney unleashed a strong attack on Obama and said the competitive fight for the GOP nomination "does not divide us, it prepares us" for the fall.

"Mr. President, you were elected to lead, you chose to follow, and now it's time to get out of the way," he declared.

Did stocks go up in price? Yes, as a matter of fact, the stock market has gone up 5,000 points since Obama took office! It has reclaimed the losses caused by Bush! You didn't know that, did you? Manufacturing jobs have risen for 8 straight months! That is best they have done in 5 years!

Those of you who claim you are worse off than 3 years ago apparently don't know what Congress has done for the last 3 years You don't know what has happened to the stock market, and you don't know the actions of Congress. This information doesn't have to come from the left or right-there is live TV coverage of Congress. There are government web sites which cover laws that have been passed and who voted for what, and the stock market is always public. First, to those who said their 401K is not any better-you need another stock broker! The market has bounced back to what it was before the 2008 crash under Bush! So, you should be in a lot better shape. This has NOT been Obama's economy because between filibusters and the dead-beat, obstructionist in the House, the GOP has done everything in their power to sabatoge and dilute every measure Obama has tried to initiate. In the meantime, they have fought to defend tax cuts for the wealthy that give them an candidate that paid less than 14% on a 20 million dollar income! Today, Romney said the wealthy are doing ok. Well, why didn't he say that when the tax cuts were due to lapse? Today, he says he is concerned about the middle class. Well, then why did we have to agree on a "super committee" just to extend the tax cuts for those middle class Americans for three months? And while Romney has collected 25% of the many millions for his campaign from 41 people-who are they? What does he owe them? I'm glad Trump endorsed him today, it shows exactly who his friends are-while the President was speaking to the Congressional prayer breakfast and attending the Washington car show where GM displayed their achievements that Romeny was in favor of trashing!

As always any debate about Obama goes back to race for the most part. Who cares what the color of his skin is? He is in over his head and has been a terrible President.

For those of you so "upset" because you claime Romney wasn't given credit for including the "safety net" part of his comment-know this... He is in favor of the Ryan bill! That bill cuts: Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, and Food Stamps. Essentially, it undercuts EVERY SAFETY NET the very poor have! Wait til that hits the "debate" stage with Obama-you really think he will be able to justify that when the facts are brought out? No! People are going to see him for the fat cat, tax dodging, greedy 1% he is!

The first thing Romney may need to do is explain why he lied to his own party. He promised in 2007 that his family "trust" would not longer invest in areas that did not support the GOP's position on Iran and China. In fact, he did not stop that type of "investment" until 3 years later-in 2010-right before running for president. He has as much explaining to do to the GOP as he does the rest of us~! Maybe that's why he can't even get 50% of his own party to vote for him.
