The countdown is on till the lighting of an annual Christmas tradition, the famed Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree!
This year's tree, a 74' tall Norway spruce from a family in Mifflinville, Pennsylvania was lifted into place back in early November. Workers spent weeks putting the famed lights on the tree, and on top, a 550lb Swarovski crystal star filled with 720 IED lights and more than 25,000 crystals.
The tree isn't the only star of the night, there will be several musical performances leading up to the lighting ceremony including: Tony Bennett, Justin Bieber, Michael Bublé, Cee Lo Green, Faith Hill, Carole King, Katharine McPhee, Javier Colon and The Radio City Rockettes.
The show will be co-hosted by Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie, both of the TODAY Show. You can watch the Rockefeller Tree Lighting live right here on WITN at 8:00 pm.
