Prosecuters To Release Names Of Sandusky Accusers

Prosecutors in Pennsylvania say they will give Jerry Sandusky the names of the ten young men accusing him of sexual abuse.

The Attorney General's office says the alleged victims' names will be delivered to Sandusky's attorney by the close of business Friday.

The former Penn State defensive coordinator faces more than 50 counts of child sex abuse. Sandusky's next court hearing is February 10.

I don't understand why the names are going to be released. These young men are RAPE victim. If they were girls, people would be up in arm about their names being released.

It has to do with full disclosure to the defense. He has a right to confront his accusers in court and his team has to be prepared and can't do that if they don't know who it is until court. This would happen if they were female as well; they aren't making the names publc only telling his legal team who they are.
