Madonna To Perform During Super Bowl Halftime Show

NBC has announced the line up for this season's super bowl half time show.

During Sunday night's game NBC confirmed Madonna will perform at the super bowl 46 halftime show on February 5 in Indianapolis.

The material girl will collaborate with Cirque du Soleil and Jamie King for the halftime show.

So far there's no word on whether she'll debut new material from the album she's currently recording.

I have to say that Prince did an outstanding concert at the 2007 Superbowl. He sang his own songs, gave a great performance, and even continued in the down-pouring rain (last song was 'Purple Rain'). If she stays true to her music, which is pretty good, doesn't have any cheesy costume-malfunctions, she has a shot at giving a pretty decent concert. I'm not a big fan of HER, but she does have some nice songs.

Sigh........I remember when the game was the main attraction. I don't watch the halftime so any way so I guess it really doesn't matter. Since she's been silent for so long I am sure Madonna will do something entertaining (and controversial) to get folks talking about her again.

I agree Jimbo. For my money, they could get better response from me if they had the Heater High School Marching Aardvarks do the halftime show.
