Joe Paterno Has Lung Cancer, Son Says

Former Penn State coach Joe Paterno has a treatable form of lung cancer, according to his son.

Scott Paterno says in a statement provided to The Associated Press by a family representative that the 84-year-old Joe Paterno is undergoing treatment and that "his doctors are optimistic he will make a full recovery."

Paterno was fired last week amid the child sex scandal involving former assistant Jerry Sandusky.

He did what he was supposed to do. It was the higher-ups that he reported to that did not follow up. DS1, you are right. These arrogant people around here think they are almighty.

Nobody cares about people from ENC's opinions. They think they are so perfect but they are wrong.

Am I supposed to feel something? Sorry, but all I can think about are those children he abandoned, he knew about it since the late nineties and made one phone call about it, he never followed up, he never called the police, and now I’m suppose to feel bad for him because he has a treatable cancer? Forget that!
