Finale Of 'Oprah Winfrey' To Air After 25-Year Run

The finale of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" is set to air with the talk show queen appearing alone, telling her viewers what they've meant to her over the last 25 years.

Winfrey taped the last episode of her show on Tuesday in Chicago. It will air Wednesday.

Audience members who left the taping said Winfrey had tears in her eyes as the television icon said a final thank you.

Winfrey then kissed and hugged her longtime partner, Stedman Graham, and made her way through the halls of Harpo Studios, saying goodbye to her staff.

Audience members described a simply produced series finale filled with a sense of gratitude. It's a different feel from the star-studded double-episode farewell shows that aired Monday and Tuesday.

I have to salute Oprah for what she has done! From coming from a small shack as a young girl in Mississippi living under racist conditions to were she is today. Proves with hard work and ambition you can make it in this country in the land of the free. A deffinate roll model for for young black youth. Get an education be somebody raise a familly be good parents a message for all races. Her work for charities causes the sick and helpless even gay rights. I hand her credit for her giving. As I have watched her last '2' shows and today her last. She has done a little of Gods work here on earth. Shows their can be good in all of us. God speed Oprah - Thank you. If you get a chance watch her show today. You might see what I mean.

I have never been a viewer of the Oprah Show, but I do appreciate the years she has been an example of "giving". There are many people in this world that have been helped via her outreaching and giving. She was given great responsibility and performed well. She has been blessed and blessed as well. Thank you Oprah for showing this world what Christians should be, regardless of you religious beliefs. May GOD continue to to use you ! !

Have you EVER seen such a SELF ABSORBED person in your life?! She must have said a million times to everyone - "No one has had a running program as lone as me - No one!" She said this with Phil Donahue, Sally Jesse Raphael, Montel and a couple of others. You should have seen the eye rolling! I was rolling mine too! GO AWAY OPRAH! THE PEOPLE WITH HALF A BRAIN ARE SICK OF YOU.
