Finale Of 'Oprah Winfrey' To Air After 25-Year Run

The finale of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" is set to air with the talk show queen appearing alone, telling her viewers what they've meant to her over the last 25 years.

Winfrey taped the last episode of her show on Tuesday in Chicago. It will air Wednesday.

Audience members who left the taping said Winfrey had tears in her eyes as the television icon said a final thank you.

Winfrey then kissed and hugged her longtime partner, Stedman Graham, and made her way through the halls of Harpo Studios, saying goodbye to her staff.

Audience members described a simply produced series finale filled with a sense of gratitude. It's a different feel from the star-studded double-episode farewell shows that aired Monday and Tuesday.
