As of Wednesday morning Tropical storm Debby was about 25 miles SE of St. Augustine, Fl. just of the east coast. Debby's winds were sustained at 35 mph. The storm was moving to the east at 10 mph.
Debby may restrengthen back to tropical storm strength over the next few days, but the storm will stay well off the US coastline as it heads into the deeper Atlantic this weekend.
Based on the latest track from the National Hurricane Center, Debby will have no impact on eastern Carolina.
