Police are investigating the discovery of four dead bodies in a Fontana home on Monday night.
Police found the bodies inside a home in the 7300 block of Palmetto Avenue, after they received a call from a 16-year-old male juvenile who told police that his family members had been injured or possibly killed in the house, according to Fontana police Sgt. Doug Imhof.
"We located four bodies, two children, a female about 12 years old, a male about 10 years old, a female victim adult 35 to 40 (years old) and a male about the same age," Imhof said. "It appears as though they all lived there."
Though police haven't been able to fully identify the bodies, family members at the scene said the four bodies were that of a family, including a father, mother and two children.
Neighbors said the discovery is shocking and scary, especially in such a quiet neighborhood.
Police patrol cars, SUVs and trucks could be seen surrounding the home, lining the neighborhood streets with crime tape.
