Big Lots Recalling Floor Lamps

If you shop at big lots, you need to be aware of a lamp recall.

Big Lots is recalling more than 43,000 of floor lamps due to a shock hazard. Wiring for the sockets can become exposed, and use of the recommended 40 watt light bulbs can overheat and melt the double plastic shade over the bulbs.

Consumers should stop using the lamps and return them to a Big Lots store for a full refund.

A Menorah is suppose to have 9 lights (candles). Those Chinese workers don't have any Jews to tell them they were designing it wrong.... Happy Hanukkah !

I just looked at the Lamp that I have in my child's bedroom. It has a sticker on it that says " CAUTION: To Rduce The Risk of Fire Use MAX 40 WATT TYPE A (here it has a symbol of a light bulb) OR SMALLER LAMP" then written underneath in smaller letters reads " 120V 60Hz AC ONLY MADE IN CHINA E208097. So the bulbs they reccomend arent even made in the United States? I think we need to stop buying stuff Made in China!

Dang lady, you're like 20 years too late. Everything (just about) is made "overseas" now. Bush & son, Bill Clinton and now Obama have been coddling the other nations for years. We're a punching bag of the world.
