UN Calls For Impartial Probe Of Israeli Raid

The U.N. Security Council is calling for an impartial investigation of Israel's deadly commando raid on ships taking humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

The statement condemns the "acts" that resulted in the loss of at least nine lives.

The statement agreed on was weaker than that initially demanded by the Palestinians, Arabs and Turkey.

Meanwhile, organizers of the flotilla say they're sending two more ships within the next few days and criticism about the raid is spreading inside Israel.

On the West Bank, an adviser to Mahmoud Abbas says the Palestinian president sees no need to quit indirect Mideast peace talks since the Palestinians are talking to the U.S. and not to Israel.

The Israeli military says Gaza militants crossed the border into Israel today and two died in an exchange of fire with troops.

Have a heart, did that information come from the pro Arab bleeding heart liberal sites? If you think the 1967 war was started by Israel...I am telling you, that deal for the 17 bypass bridge can be yours...liberals, they just cannot tell the truth.

Nothing the UN does is impartial. I'm sure the outcome of their "investigation" has already been predetermined.

fed up as well!!! United Nations, European Union, Obama and Bilderberg group are nothing but tools and ways that satan has used to come against Israel which is the apple of God' eye. I hope and pray for a new legislative group to win as many seats in congress in 2012 that will support Israel and fight these atheistic communists we have running our country today. As Condoleezza Rice along with UN advisors pushed over 10,000 Israeli citizens out of their settlements while Bush was in office, two weeks after God brought down his wrath upon the US which brought hurricane Catrina and caused the most damage in our history on us. We'll see more of God' wrath (oil spill in Gulf etc - etc.) as long as we have Obama in office because he sides with Muslims which hate Jesus Christ. Keep messing around with Israel Obama and you'll find that you don't mess with God' people. The power of evil men is nothing compared to God almighty and his wrath. Blessed be his name forever!!!

Have a heart Location: Greenville on Jun 1, 2010 at 08:37 AM - boo hoo, everyone in that area is against Israel, even now (or so it seems)so is the USA.Obama has been very rude to our allies there. I have little pity for the palestinian people. They cheered when the twin towers fell, they support the muslims who plot to destory us. Let Israel wipe them out!!!!!!

Israel did what they had to do in order to protect themselves, regardless of who occupies what. The ships ran the blockade. They had plenty of opportunities to stop and be checked. They chose not to and got what they deserverd. Thank goodness you bleeding hearts are the minority because if not, America would have been invaded and defeated long ago. Hey bleeding hearts, remember Memorial Day? We honor the ones that have made it possible for you to babble on w/ your pathetic bleeding heart ways. That includes our pathetic president too. Let's just hope this will be his last term as if he is elected again our nation will surely fall. HE must be ousted, alond w/ the UN. If you bleeding hearts like the way these other countries do business; leave here and go there. It won't take you long to realize that we have it made here compared to most other countries. You folks disgust me!!!

the UN has no teeth, they whine about "impartial investigation", Sanctions of N.Korea and Iran that they laugh at. When peacekeeping forces are needed who do they demand supply troops?, the USA. When they want a villian who do they look at, the USA.

While palestinians suffer? I think Isreal has shown great restaint by not wiping the entire lot murders. In fact that is the only thing the palestinians produce is murder. Nothing useful comes from that welfare state. If not for the rest of world taking care of them they would die out anyway.

I agree totally with both Key and Neo, we need to kick the UN out of NYC. Video shows that these "peaceful"people with " humanitarian aid " is beating the crap out of the commandos. so much for peaceful. Go Israel
