Palin Builds Fence So Neighbor Can't See In

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has erected a 14-foot-high fence at her Wasilla home, making good on a promise to prevent her new neighbor from peering in.

The neighbor, Joe McGinniss, is working on a book about the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee, tentatively titled, "Sarah Palin's Year of Living Dangerously."

On Monday Palin took to Facebook to "welcome" the author, who'd previously written a critical magazine story about Palin. She said McGinniss was renting a house next door "for the next five months or so" and wondered what he'd gather "while overlooking Piper's bedroom, my little garden, and the family's swimming hole."

She said she would be putting up a "tall fence."

The wooden barrier can now be seen between Palin's home and the smaller one McGinniss is renting on Lake Lucille.

Anonymous on Jul 12, 2010 at 07:19 AM, first, I never posted, never commented and read the comments that dominated this site. That is not how the rest of us feel or thing period. I don't argue to hear my own voice, I post to make my opine be heard. I will no longer be silent and just read. As you read, I read Obamas book and since then, recognized he wants communism or socialism for you and me. Well, if you work for you family, I don't want my efforts to pay for those just living on the government. Why? They have the same if not more opportunity to do better than me, however, to stiffle their opportunity, the government stepped in. This is the worse way to ruin someones life. Put them in the government dole and tell them to shut up. Well, 47% now work for those that don't. Look it up. I will only blast those that defend this system as my father fought to not be on it. So, I will argue, belittle and frustrate anyone not wanting anything better for their kids and family. Take care. OSOC

Anonymous on Jul 9, 2010 at 01:42 PM, my company doesn't, in fact, its against the law. We do government work, so we are not allowed to hire illegal nations. Farmers didn't consider illegals as a burden for many reasons. They were cheap labor, however, the cost was passed on to those that bought the food they harvested. Nothing is free or cheap. If they come over legal and with a green card, not problem, they will sent money back to home in another land where it has great buying power. When they come here illegal, you pay for their healthcare, schooling for free, after all most don't pay taxes here like we do. You gettin the math here? They have anchor babies who are US citizens, then get social security, food stamps for each child and so goes the cycle. Just another burden on the system.

Obama Snake Oil Co ..So you are saying,if we akk (the taxpaying citizens with rights) pay the fines for not "blinking",it would solve the immigration burden. After all a lot of people had no issues about illegals till they were considered a burden. If fact I know a LOT of farmers and contractors that want them here "as illegals ! "

Do not be deceived my friend. It appears Balaam is in the camp !The mixing of religions and philosophies with Christianity is an absolute No-No.""I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality. Lay hands suddenly(be careful who we endorse) on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: KEEP THYSELF PURE. Has Palin stood for the commandments of the Law and omitted some weightier matters of compromise concerning Scripture. For GOD is a jealous GOD .How do you feel about her endorsement of Haley ?

Anonymous on Jul 5, 2010 at 02:33 PM, I think "taxpayers" that are "citizens" have rights. Your comment on blinkers is interresting. A girl in Fla went down and interstate not using her signal. When she went off to the exit, the patrolman that followed her, gave her a ticket for failure to use her indicator 14 times....I was told its a $75 dollar fine for each offense.....NC could pass that law and balance the budget....

Obama Snake Oil co Location: Washington on Jun 5, 2010 at 05:11 PM ..Then maybe we should treat everyone the same...and our citizens will stop breaking laws. No car rage,,no drunks on the road,,no drug users,, Wow they have found the perfect law. Why didn't our founding Fathers get this right in the beginning or were some of them forgetting to turn their blinkers on.And you go Dixe lu..You can't be a Christian if aren't a legal. They all just needto get donkeys and go home to be taxed. Got it !

Alaskan, children as well as adults, receives a payment each year from the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation. Residents can apply online for this money, known as the Permanent Fund Dividend or PFD, via the myAlaska program.

You are the light of the world. A city on a hill that should be hidden: people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they should not put it on its stand and it gives light to anyone in the house. In the same way, don't let your light shine before men, It should be forbidden that men see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
