Three Americans Jailed In Iran Meet With Their Mothers

Iran's state-run Press TV says three Americans jailed in Iran are meeting with their mothers.

Press TV broadcast footage of Sarah Shourd, Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal hugging and kissing their mothers, who wore long black headscarves and held bouquets of flowers.

The trio's mothers arrived in Tehran a day earlier to visit their children and try to secure their release.

Shourd, Bauer and Fattal were arrested along the Iraqi border in July, and Iran has accused them of spying. Their relatives reject the accusation and say they were hiking in Iraq's scenic north.

Sorry but this seems like a joke. What in the world? Why would the mothers be the ones to see them? Why not a lawyer. Seems to be the country just wanted to shame the mothers by making them wear that awful get-up that disresecpts american life. I wouldn't let this happen, its a disgrace.

These kids need to be left over their. Anyone goes into that part of the world close to the borders is asking for trouble.

What were these kids thinking? The Appalachian trail would be challenging enough for me.
