CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) -- A lawyer for a University of Virginia men's lacrosse player charged with murder says the death was an accident.

Defense lawyer Francis Lawrence says he is confident the death of a women's lacrosse player from the same school, Yeardley Love, was not intended.

The 22-year-old Love was found dead in her apartment Monday morning. Hours later, 22-year-old George Huguely was arrested and charged with murder in the death.

Police say the two had been in a relationship but investigators plan to interview fellow players and friends about the nature of the relationship.

Yeah yeah yeah it was an accident alright, just like Ted Kennedy's wreck running off of a bridge drunk and it ended up killing a girl that was with him. That was an accident to. This lawyer is just trying to get a major paycheck out of this.

There are two sides to every story, but no one ever wins. Two families have been destroyed. One VERY tragic! You are in my prayers.

Bull! There are two sides to this story and Yeardley is dead. DO NOT BELIEVE HIS LAWYERS. It was an accident! Yeah right! Now they will say it was rough sex gone out of control. Anyone remeber that jerk in New York that killed that girl in the park? Rich kid. His lawyers tried saying the same thing. That boy did not even looked distressed. No tears no nothing. Murder is murder. He needs punished as anyone with out the financial backing his parents have.
