Don't be so hard on Jim, he can't help it. He can't see all sides to everything. What do you think we have here on WITN's boards, a bunch of geniuses? lol

Jim, since you are such an expert with firearms that you wouldn't "shoot to wound", lets take you to the range and put you out in the open with the closest cover several yards away. I will get behind cover (not concealment)where you have no idea where I am then I'll start shooting at you as hard and fast as I can. Doesn't matter if it's with a rifle or pistol. Then lets see you scramble to cover while returning accurate fire to a barricaded subject and you not get hit. Way to go. You know your firearm tactics well.

I whole heartedly agree with Dog Trainer: "God bless Detroit PD. My prayers are with the officers and their families." HOWEVER, "Suspect Injured"? Sounds to me like the responding officers, whe were wounded themselves, need to spend more time on the range. I beleive that if someone were shooting at me like this, I wouldn't be shooting to wound.
