Official: 1 Dead, 2 Dozen Hurt In Ark. Tornadoes

CLINTON, Ark. -- Authorities say tornadoes ripping through central Arkansas have killed at least one person, injured more than two dozen others and destroyed several homes.

Authorities say teams are searching for people who may be trapped.

Search teams located a person believed missing in the wreckage of a home in Center Ridge.

Officials say at least one person died and they scaled back reports of injuries to around two dozen.

Property damage is extensive and trees and power lines are down.

Forecaster John Robinson says another round of storms, including tornadoes, could come today.
