Gunmen Kill 16 In Violence-Torn Mexican Border City

The Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez has been hit by a series of shootings.

Battles between rival drug gangs have made the city across the border from El Paso, Texas, one of the world's deadliest.

Prosecutors say gunmen stormed into a bar early Wednesday and dragged eight people out to the parking lot where they were shot to death.

Hours later, a car chase ended in a shootout in front of an elementary school. A woman and two men were found dead inside one of the cars. A teacher at the school says three students and a pregnant teacher suffered panic attacks and were taken to a hospital.

Elsewhere, gunmen opened fire on another car, killing four young men. And in a separate attack, a gang shot to death a man in a wheelchair on the sidewalk.

More than 800 people have been killed this year in the city of 1.3 million people.

Their Country is Corrupt. Ours won't really do anything about it. We need true walls and true man power on the boarder!

It is simple. Put troops around the borders and a land mine field between them and us. The politicans don't won't Americans to have pride in their country and unite because they know we would take over and kick them all out of office. Does anyone remember the unity after 9-11? They quickly done away with that, just think about it.

They could stop this. They don't have this problem in other countries. It's all about votes. No politian wants to rock the boat. Their are scared they loose the minorty votes.

I seen the fences. They are a joke. Anybody can either climb them or make holes in them.

The current asministration and congressional leadership continue to go down the path toward socialism. Mexico is a de facto socialist state with only 1 ruling party whose president is hand selected by the outgoing one. This is what socialism leads to. Is this what you want? We already have too much crime in our neighborhoods related to drugs and the affects that "entitlement" programs play.

The way our borders have been allowed to get over the last few years any one of these murderers can slip right into the US with ease if they choose to.
