An Ohio State University official is calling today's shooting that killed one employee and injured two others a tragic event.
The assistant vice president of public safety says "our hearts go out to all of the families."
The university's police chief says officers apprehended a suspect and are now trying to determine what motivated the shooting at a campus maintenance building in Columbus. Chief Paul Denton says one of the injured is in critical condition and the other is in stable condition.
No students were injured and classes at the nation's largest university are being held as scheduled.
