It was no surprise at the Westminster dog show in New York. Sadie, the Scottish Terrier, won America's top dog Tuesday night, grabbing the best in show prize.
Sadie was the huge favorite, and a crowd of about 15,000 saw the 4-year-old earn her 112th best in show ribbon.
Sadie beat out six other dogs in the final ring. Also in contention were a whippet, a French bulldog, a toy poodle, a brittany, a puli and a Doberman pinscher.
The show wasn't without controversy. Two members of PETA walked into the center ring at Madison Square and held up signs that said "Mutts Rule" and "Breeders Kill Shelter Dogs' Chances." They were led away by security without incident.
