I do not consider myself a liberalisst or a feminist just someone who takes insult at people who make generalizations about situations and people that htey know nothing about! And ummm...what does a cell phones and status symbols have to do with anything? And I mentioned my degree to show that not all single mothers are people that buy their children toys to "pacify them while they talk to bad boys about booze/pot felts later on"! Some single moms are educated, great parents who are doing the best they can! I just found your comment to be disgusting and pointless and having nothing to do with the original story that was posted by!

It never takes long for the single mom to rear her head and spout insults. Calling me an "idiot," I hope it makes you feel better. Also, confirming your success with a Master's Degree must justify your liberalism and feminist outlooks. I bet you have one of those cell phones also. Not me, no ma'am. I don't need to pacify myself with a status symbol.

to neal...what a judgemental, cynical man you sound like! Why in the world would you judge someone just because thye bought their child a marine lamp! YOu sound like a complete idiot! Thanks WITN for the update! My aunt bought one of these from Belk for my one year old for Christmas! And to Neal...I am a single mom and hold a Master's Degree and don't use it to pacify my daughter so I can talk about drugs or booze. Thanks!!

Looks like one of those things single moms buy for their screeching wal-mart brats, to pacify it while she talks to her "bad boy" on the cellphone, making plans for some booze/pot fest later that evening, no doubt.

Good Grief! I purchased an Aquarium Lamp, similar to that one, from Belks years ago! It started hanging up, i.e. not rotating the image/making a snapping noise, so discarded it. The lamp in this photo looks identical. I bet it is 'made in china'.
