Voter Discontent

A new poll suggests voter discontent with Democrats is what landed Republican Scott Brown a seat in the Senate.

The Washington Post poll counted about 63 percent of Massachusetts voters in Tuesday's election who say the country is seriously off track. Brown won two-thirds of those voters.

In contrast, Barack Obama had solid support from the more than 80 percent of Massachusetts voters in the presidential election who viewed the country as off course in November 2008.

Nearly two-thirds of those who supported Brown said their vote was meant to partly show opposition to the Democratic agenda in Washington, including the health care overhaul.

Three-quarters said they want to see Brown work with Democrats to get GOP proposals into legislation. Nearly half said the same specifically about the health care bill.

Laughing you forgot, you do not know what race I am and I am a democrat, not a progressive. Are you profiling? Please add that to your next post. Wise one, wellcome to the progressive democratic party of elitest. You,...just fit nicely. Laughing, you will find it hard to do this after the 2010 election. With Mass going republican after half a century...the party is over. Now, go join the sheep, they are doing cliff diving tonight. Watch Fox news so you can find the facts of your demise. I love progressive failure, it means there is still hope to take it back. And thanks, glad I am under your skin. Well, if it wasn't so thin, I wouldn't be there.....

I have never seen so many black people come out and talk about race. I believe blacks are more racist than whites. I'm NOT saying ALL people are racist. I'm just saying some are. We whites were a minority here in America at one time a few hundred years ago. I believe you can find their former "home" on the Outer Banks of N.C. called "The Lost Colony". You see it doesn't pay to try to out do each other when it comes to the race war. God put us all here and he expects us to get along and respect each other. Stop this name calling. We are not in the 5th grade anymore~!!

Data Man, your post says it all about you... all you care about is RACE. It's so obvious in your posts. Obamas race has nothing to do about the upset people you see posting here. It's government taking over EVERYTHING in our lives. Obama got the white vote in this country because Americans thought he was different, thought he would follow through with his campaign promises. He has not done that. He has shown his true left wing liberal colors. You may enjoy having a black president, but you are still the miniority in this country. To keep him elected he need white voters to support him.... too bad he's losing more and more of them each day.

"Unwise One", an IQ test would virtually elliminate the dumocrat strongholds in inner cities. You should check some studies and statistics before engaging your mouth. Detroit, St Louis, Baltimore, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Memphis and other cities would have their voter rolls slashed by probably 50% or more if the standard was say.....an IQ of 90. "Unwise Uno", don't just blather now, do some research before sounding silly again.

"Looking forward to NEXT election!", what is an 'igornant community'? Maybe there should be a spelling test before people are allowed to post comments! I think an IQ test would knock just as many Republicans out as Democrats. We all know that poor, illiterate Republicans hide behind the rich, elite ones!

Most of the American people have already figured out that most politicians, both Democrats AND Republicans are not paying attention to what the population want....they only care about their own perks & under the table payouts....Believe me, I've been inside politics & I have seen it all...if only the general public could hear politicians behind closed doors...If anyone thinks that politicians want to get elected to help their constituents, then you really are delusional! So what is the solution....the best one I can think of is to elect new people for these offices every time you vote....There are very few times when you should vote for an incumbent....I am a longtime Democrat but the only politician I ever met who really cared about his constituents was Congressman Walter Jones Jr....unfortunately,he is the exception rather than the rule.....As for the rest, send a message and VOTE THEM ALL OUT IN NOVEMBER!!

Data Man, don't worry about Obama Snake Oil man. The only thing he can come up with on here are a few ridiculous words/terms. 1) koolaide.... give me a break 2) George Soros.. he probably sings this opera style 3) aluminum hats and motherships.. someone watches too much SCI FI channel late at nite.... 4) sheep ,water, cliffs etc etc etc. Then he ends his posts with things like this: losers. Dont forget he accuses people of not doing their homework and posting lies and spin. Well, he's so stubborn if the sky was falling and you told him such, he'd call you a liar and switch back to FOX TV. Republicans, the party that's having a hard time because they can't think for themselves, they just believe a box plugged into the wall. God help them if the power ever went out.

Republicans will end up on top thanks to Obama. All of the 'igornant community' voted for him and we now are all suffering. There should be an IQ test before being allowed to vote. All they wanted was to make history. OBAMA what a JOKE!

I hope that the Dateline report has reminded/informed people of the dire need of health care reform.
