Sheehan, Others To Protest At CIA, Cheney's House

LANGLEY, Va. -- Cindy Sheehan and other anti-war activists are rallying today outside CIA headquarters in Virginia to protest the American use of drone aircraft to attack al-Qaida and Taliban targets.

Former congresswoman Cynthia McKinney is also among the group that plans to march to former Vice President Dick Cheney's nearby home in McLean.

Sheehan says plans call for staying on the sidewalks and public roads near Cheney's home.

But she says some protesters may risk arrest by walking up to the house.

Sheehan's 21-year-old son, Casey, was killed in the war in Iraq.

Here's health to you and to our Corps Which we are proud to serve; In many a strife we've fought for life And never lost our nerve; If the Army and the Navy Ever look on Heaven’s scenes; They will find the streets are guarded By United States Marines. At least her son beleived in what he was doing and he is there at the gates of heaven to welcome his fellow brothers and sisters in uniform.

There was a time in our nation's history that Sheehan would be accused of treason. I wonder who gets the most comfort from this woman. the taliban or our troops?

how crazy is this!!! this woman needs to live with the Taliban & al-Qaida for a year. she wouldn't make it one week when their ransom demands weren't met. aiding & abetting terrorists & causing confusion in America. what a shame it is when she and others are against our survival tactics as a nation. this is just political attacks from the enemy of God on our nation.

i dont paticularly care for the war in the middle east, i do however understand the importance of us being there fighting or it will come here, but what do you people want him to do...you complain bush did nothing to stop al-quaeda but now Obama is doing what really needed to be done back on sept 12, 2001 and youre still not happy. let the government allow the bombing because then our young men and women arent being charged with murder for defending our country....our soldiers must follow geneva convention laws or face stiff consequence but the taliban and al-quaeda do not

Just remember the old saying "The squeeky wheel get the grease" Here is a 21 year old female and a washed up congresswoman protesting. When they have joined the armed forces and been shot at then they have earned their right to protest. The sad thing is our elected officials will listen to a hand full of people and ignore millions. Just remember to go to the polls at the next election.

Well said Anonymous...well said . I wonder what her son is thinking, also. I bet he is thinking "Mother , why are you tarnishing the duty of the brave men and women that I served with? You are belittling everything I have done to serve my country, and now I cry for you in the bosom of God."
