Finnish police have confirmed that four people were killed after a gunman opened fire in a shopping mall in Finland's second largest city.
Police identified the shooter as 43-year-old Ibrahim Shkupolli and said that he was still on the loose. The shooter's nationality is unclear.
Police spokesman Jurki Karlio tells The Associated Press one woman and three men were shot dead early Thursday in Espoo.
Karlio says all trains to the shopping mall have been stopped as police search for the gunman. He says there were "many hundred people" inside the shopping mall at the time of the shooting.
