Blackwater Guards Linked To CIA Raids

The New York Times reports private security guards working for Blackwater participated in CIA "snatch and grab" raids against suspected insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan.

A U.S. official confirms to The Associated Press that Blackwater provided security and moved around with CIA teams on missions in war zones, but denies they performed CIA missions.

The CIA says the spy agency "uses contractors in roles that complement and enhance the skills of" its work force.

Blackwater changed its corporate name to Xe Services after a series of controversies, including the September 2007 shooting in Baghdad by five of its guards that left 17 civilians dead.

The report comes as the House Intelligence Committee investigates the CIA's hiring of Blackwater to be part of a program to kill or capture al-Qaida leaders.

US citizen, its okay, the prior administration is long gone, you can come out of your closet and start to believe in our laws again. You know the laws that put regular people like you and me in jail for speeding, while white-collar crime goes unnoticed?

Daaaaa. What kind of news is this? This is nothing but attacks against our own government. Who's behind this? The liberal left lamestream media which IS anti-American. They'd rather have the Taliban and al-Qaida running our country. Welcome the enemy by showing compassion and giving rights to terrorists. They are a disgrace to the USA and DO NOT represent the 80% of the people who stands for defending our country. Blackwater Guards linked to CIA. What a ridiculous headline to post. How about "Lamestream Media linked to aiding and helping terrorists" That should be all over the news. The CIA was only looking out for your's and your family's rear ends. Our national security is the highest prioritized issue we have. Not pampering a bunch of Islamic nuts which don't like America. They didn't like us way before the Bush years. They hated us during the Clinton years as well as decades in the past.

OMG! we've offended the offenders! whomever reports this kind of journalism needs to be treated as an accessory to terrorism and prosecuted. CIA, FBI, NSI and any other federal agency shouldn't be the ones in the spotlight here. The Afgan & Iraqi people who harbor, enable or sponsor terrorists which want to destroy US should be the ones in the spotlight. Journalists like Katie Couric, Matt Lauer and all the rest of the fake UnAmericans who side with this liberal idiotic crap of giving respect and compassion towards our enemies in war time should be locked up in maximum security prisons and replaced by real American journalists who stand up for America's freedoms and sovereignty. They're committing nothing but Treason and should be brought before military courts. If the CIA wants to use Blackwater, your moma or anyone else to accomplish issues of high importance, that's their job and their job has always been for our national security and nothing else but that.
