New Mexico's Elizabeth Lambert took physical play a little too far during the Lobos Mountain West semifinal soccer game against BYU Thursday.
Lambert pushed, punched and pulled Cougar players throughout the game, which was won by BYU 1-0.
First, Lambert pushed Carlee Payne to the ground.
Then, Lambert punched Payne in the back.
Later, Lambert pulled Kassidy Shumway to the turf by her hair.
Lambert was not penalized for the hair pulling, but afterwards her coach suspended her indefinitely.
Lambert's coach calls her a good student, but adds her actions crossed the line.
