Death Toll In Iran Suicide Bombing Rises To 31

TEHRAN, Iran -- Iranian state radio is reporting that the death toll has risen to 31 in a suicide bombing that targeted commanders of the elite Revolutionary Guard attending a meeting in southeastern Iran.

State media report that Sunday's attack killed five senior commanders of the Guard in an area that has been at the center of a simmering Sunni insurgency.

The official IRNA news agency says the dead included the deputy commander of the Guard's ground force as well as a chief provincial Guard commander for the area.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but the region in Iran's southeast has been the focus of violent attacks by a Sunni militant group called Jundallah, or Soldiers of God, which has waged a low-level insurgency.

Bring our troups home, send all the foreign people home that take jobs, tax money, our children's place in college, especially medical schools etc. Sick and tired of this adopt the world. Just protect the borders and provide missles to put their missles in reverse.

It's great when they blow themselves up. These are the same creeps who have supplied IED's and suicide bombers to kill US troops. They blame the US for this and threaten to not send any more taxi drivers to NY City

Seems like somebody might be getting a taste of their own medicine. What goes around comes around!
