Judge: Charges Against Caylee Anthony's Mother Stand

A judge has dismissed a request to throw out the most serious criminal charges against a Florida mother accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter.

Circuit Judge Stan Strickled ruled Friday that a motion filed by Casey Anthony's attorneys did not meet the requirements needed for a dismissal of the first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse charges.

In an earlier filing, Anthony's attorneys had said the charges were based on "circumstantial and speculative" evidence.

During a brief hearing Friday, prosecutor Linda Drane Burdick said the defense attorneys' motion was insufficient and riddled with errors.

Anthony has pleaded not guilty and says a baby sitter kidnapped Caylee. The toddler's remains were found in December 2008, months after she was reported missing.

She is so guilty. How can a mother kill their child ? I have a 6 yo son & it makes me sick to think about how she threw away her daughter & went on partying so she could go get laid.

OK let's say she didn't do it...Why wait 31 days and during that time period "party like it's 1999" I too cannot understand why her mom and dad believe the bull she keeps shooting out. She needs the death penalty! Her parents and brother should be charged too for hindering the investgation or something.

The mother is guilty and the parents know it and they are helping their daughter try to get away with it. How can they even talk to the mother is beyond me.

If she didn't want Caylee why not just give her to parents. They loved the child more than Casey. My thoughts are Casey and her mom had a fight and the ultimate way to hurt her mom would be to hurt Caylee. Or maybe she was knocking her out with drugs to party. Either way she waited 31 days to tell Caylee was missing. The whole truck stunk like a dead body said her own mom Cindy. Talk about guilty! I hope she never she's the light of day again and bursts hell wide open.
