Mom Who Carried Gun To Soccer Game Found Dead With Husband

Police say a Pennsylvania soccer mom who gained national attention when she openly carried a loaded gun to her 5-year-old daughter's game has been shot dead along with her husband in what appears to be a murder-suicide.

They say Meleanie Hain and Scott Hain were pronounced dead Wednesday night at their home in Lebanon, a small city about 80 miles west of Philadelphia. The couple were in their 30s.

Police say the couple's three children were home but weren't hurt and have been taken to stay with friends and relatives.

Neighbor Mark Long says the Hains had been having marital problems.

Meleanie Hain made headlines after she attended a children's soccer game on Sept. 11, 2008, with a gun in plain view on her hip.

The county sheriff revoked her gun-carrying permit, but a judge reinstated it.
