55 Linked To Pagans Motorcycle Club Indicted On Federal Charges

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- Fifty-five members and associates of the Pagans Motorcycle Club have been indicted on federal charges that include kidnapping and racketeering.

The defendants include national Pagans President David Keith Barbeito of Myersville, Md., and national Vice President Floyd B. Moore of St. Albans. Also named are members and associates in West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Florida.

A federal indictment unsealed Tuesday in Charleston charged that Barbeito, Moore and others conspired in September 2005 with a prison guard to kill an inmate suspected of cooperating with law enforcement.

Moore also is accused of ordering a member of the motorcycle gang to kill the president of a local chapter of the Avengers Motorcycle Club.

Not everyone who rides a bike is a bad person Just because you have a bike doesn't mean you belong to a gang. The Pagans and Hells Angels are not all bad, they conduct toy runs at Christmas for the children. You people need to grow up and let us motorcycle riders enjoy the freedon while we can.

For those of you that think every one that rides a motorcycle is a thug, maybe you should attend Memorial Day festivities in Washington DC and see the spectacle of "ROLLING THUNDER" made up of Vietnam vets. and supports of Vietnam vets. and those who are named on the wall. I had the opportunity to see this spectacle twice and they shook the very foundation of Washington DC with the roar of those HD's.

What an ignorant statement to make!!! I guess this means everyone who rides a motorcycle is a thug in your mind. People need to stop stereotyping others based on race, religion, personal choices, etc. and find a life outside these boards!!
